We are a grass-roots organization dedicated to promoting awareness and generating funds in order to make meaningful improvements in the lives of females in the New York City community and worldwide.  We are an all-volunteer organization run with minimal overhead so 95% of all donations go directly to the cause.

The Alex House Project envisions a world in which low-income families benefit from comprehensive support, and young mothers, in particular, successfully transition into parenthood, with access to parenting training, higher education, and employment.  It's mission is to increase long-term, self-sufficiency and independence for young mothers, and their children by providing parenting classes and leadership development in a safe and caring environment.
